Material Lifts (VRC)

Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors

Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors (VRC) are a material elevator designed to move product from one elevation to another. These vertical material lifts are a cost effective alternative to higher priced freight elevators.  They can be installed for through-floor, interior or exterior applications. The principal components of a Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor includes steel guide columns, carriages and a mechanical or hydraulic actuating mechanism.

Our vertical material lifts (VRC) are utilized to transport material and products of all shapes, sizes and weights between two or more levels. VRCs lift items as small as buckets to as large as cars, airplane wings and more. American Warehouse Systems has decades of experience matching application to equipment. We understand that every application is unique and we design every material lift with it's specific application in mind.

Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors provide lower cost and more flexible alternatives to freight elevators and passenger elevators. Since vertical lifts are designed for the movement of material only they are not subject to elevator codes but instead are subject to ANSI/ASME B20.1 Safety Standards for Conveyors.
