Materials for storage mezzanines, warehouse mezzanines and more.

Structural Steel, Cold Rolled Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Structural Fiberglass and Rack-Supported GSA mezzanines.

GSA mezzanines and commercial and warehouse storage mezzanines are semi-permanent floor systems, typically installed within buildings, built between two permanent original stories. These structures are usually free standing and in most cases can be dismantled and relocated. Commercially sold warehouse mezzanines are generally constructed of three main materials; steel, aluminum, and fiberglass. A warehouse mezzanine's decking will vary by application but is generally composed of b-deck underlayment and wood product finished floor or a heavy duty steel, aluminum or fiberglass grating.

American Warehouse Systems primarily manufactures structural steel GSA mezzanines and rack-supported mezzanines. We are the #1 supplier of military mezzanines and also work with fortune 500 clients around the globe. Most of our clients want the strength of structural steel. We do understand however that in certain applications other types of materials are required to complete a particular scope of work. As such we supply six different types of storage mezzanines.

For the benefit of all interested parties, we have researched and compiled a directory of pre-engineered storage mezzanine types with structural specifications and a listing of benefits and drawbacks for each type of system. If you have any questions on any of the information presented here, please contact us at 1-877-677-9066.
